Sharimaelyn Sadca - Ms Earth 2016

Sharimaelyn, Miss London NABA alumni 2011 was recently crowned Ms Earth 2016 at the Burlington Hotel earlier in May.

Ms. Earth is under the Miss Earth UK. The "Ms." category was first opened this year to give the chance to aspiring young ladies who cannot compete for the "Miss" category because they maybe married/divorced/had a child.

We spoke to Shae about the competition:

"It was an unforgettable experience as everyone was given time to bond. All the girls were lovely. This year there were almost 30 contestants as it was a double grand finals for Face of the World and Miss Earth UK, Miss Teen Earth UK and Ms. And Mrs. Earth UK. It was an unbelievable moment when my name was called as the very first Ms. Earth UK I even had to look at my contestant number to make sure it was me."

As we know the Miss Earth organisation's primary advocacy is about promoting and protecting Mother Earth. Shae will be fulfilling her duties all through 2016 until she relinquishes her crown in May 2017.
